Clannad ~After Story~

Finally, I want to review one of my favorite anime all the time. If you haven’t watch “Clannad” AKA the season 1, then watch it first, because Clannad ~After Story~ tell you about the “happily ever after” from season 1. All characters is same from season 1, and the first half (about first 12 episodes) of this anime tell you about characters that hasn’t showed up much from the season 1, like Misae’s past (Sunohara’s landlady) and Yukine’s delinquent friends. Although the first half is a bit boring, the second half is a masterpiece to me. My patience for watching the first half is paid up, because of one episode from second half can make me cried like a baby :p

One day, my friend told me to read this manga, and several days after that, I got a chance to read it. I think this is a decent manga at first, and keep more interesting in several next chapters.  Can you imagine that you failed to enter your favorite high school because of very cute girl? Will you hate her? Or perhaps will you love her because she is so cute? The protagonist of this manga experiences that, and one day he goes to that high school to after her (to blame that cute girl who make him failed). Can you imagine what will happen next? He meets with someone who can do a magic (obviously a truly magic). And accidentally, he can enter the school (actually he can’t enter it) and makes some ruckus.

The first thing I want to say—this is my first post in English. Although I’m still bad in English, I will try this one. This anime is adapted from visual novel. Don’t think about another anime which adapted from visual novel that contain FULL of “fan service” (for you that don’t understand the meaning, simply put that show you many panties or ‘cleavage’) and has NO plot story, like a lucky bastard protagonist that surrounded by many cute girl. Hmm wait, Clannad also has a protagonist that surrounded by many girl, but it has a good story that can make you moved and perhaps can make you cry. Oh, really????? For me, no doubt about it, this anime attack you with the power of love. Whaddya mean “the power of love”? Don’t think that love is just for a couple,  there is another shape, like love for family and friends. I think that kind of love especially for family is more powerful than love between young couple, and if you also think that, you MUST watch this anime
